Sion Shin (’27)

Sion is a Grade 11 student acting as a co-leader of the club for this year. With his passion for science and public health, he is excited to further extend the club’s effort of showcasing our student body’s work in STEM while also introducing new initiatives this year.

Alvin Sheng (’27)

Alvin is passionate about co-leading Spotlight this year, focusing on club organization behind the scenes. At school, Alvin is deeply involved in sciences and media, with A&P being his favorite subject. In his spare time, he can be found tinkering in engineering projects or doing photography.

Christopher Li (’27)

Christopher is acting as the lead publisher for Spotlight this year, ensuring a smooth transition for the new team. With a passion for chemistry and sustainability, he continuously explores how scientific innovations can meaningfully impact society.

Harry Gong (’25)

Harry acted as leader of Spotlight from 2023 to 2025. With his passion for celebrating the vibrancy of our student body through writing, he connected the diverse STEM-area passions of our school community.

Justin Bao (’25)

Justin’s role involved managing communications and relations with Spotlight. With his passion for mathematics, history, and science, he further promoted STEM projects from the student body.

Andy Sheng (’25)

Andy led the behind the scenes of Spotlight. With interests spanning programming, geography, and politics, he promoted explorations in STEM through “shining the spotlight” on the diverse and innovative projects developed within the student body.
